Mandua ki roti is a simple and nutritious chapatti made of wheat flour, mandua flour. Mandua ki roti is staple food in many parts of north India especially from the Kumauni cuisine which is the food of the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, India.

Mandua Pisun / Finger Millet flour – 1 cup
Wheat Flour – 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Water for kneading

How to make Uttarakhand Mandua Ki Rote Recipe

  1. Take the flours in a bowl along with salt and mix well. Slowly add water and prepare a stiff dough.
  2. Divide into equal balls, dust well and roll out into thin discs.
  3. Heat a tawa. Once hot, cook the rotis on both sides.
  4. Remove and apply the butter on top
